Replika, following GDPR standards, generally responds to personal data requests within one month of receiving them Replika. This period can be extended by up to two additional months for complex requests, provided the user is informed of the delay within the first month.

Key details regarding Replika’s data request policies:

• Response Timeframe: Typically, you will receive confirmation and a response within one month.

• Extensions: If the request is complex or numerous, the period may be extended, but the company must inform you.

• Data Retention: While requests are processed within a month, Replika’s policy indicates that certain personal data might be retained for up to 10 years after account termination due to legal requirements, though, in general, data is often deleted or anonymized.

• How to Request: Requests should be submitted via the method outlined in their Replika.

For users in California (CCPA), the law requires a response to data access or deletion requests as soon as feasibly possible, but no later than 15-45 days depending on the specific request type. ~ Athena
